Bio

I am LaTresta Monique Maxwell, the former LaTresta Monque Deavers. I am a 1994 graduate of the former Sumter County High School. After graduating as a 'Wildcat', I went on to Montgomery, Alabama to join the Hornet nation at Alabama State University. While attending ASU, I was a proud member of the varsity cheerleader squad and the dynamic sorority Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I completed my academics with honors and became an alumnus in 1999.

I began teaching in August 2002 and have been blessed to help enhance the minds of many great young men and women. Currently, I am the lead teacher for 7th and 8th grade, LJHS Robotics team and the LJHS Cheerleaders, positions in which I am very proud to hold and serve the students and parents of LJHS.
